At Kirkwood High School, they're celebrating three students who earned Top 10 finishes at the Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association (TMTA) Math Contest.
Congratulations to Lane Horton, Shanmukha Raghulapadu, and David Lee!
The Kenwood High School football team visited the Tennessee State Veterans Home. They played games and served ice cream to veterans and their families.
Fourth graders at Rossview Elementary stepped back in time to experience Constitution Day like true historians! Students put their knowledge to the test with a Constitution Scavenger Hunt, got creative while making their very own Constitution hats, and, of course, no Constitution Day would be complete without signing their very own class Constitution.
As a Tennessee Purple Star District, we are proud of the relationship our schools foster with the military community. Rossview Middle School recently hosted a Military Appreciation Night to recognize its Fort Campbell Partner Unit, the 2-32 Field Artillery Regiment from the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division Artillery.
West Creek High School's Key Club spent three hours cleaning the entire campus! The school is grateful for the students, parents, and sponsors who endured the heat to support Mr. John, who does so much to keep the campus grounds looking sharp.
Rossview High School Seniors had the opportunity to visit Nashville State Community College and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) to explore the pathways available after graduation. Both NSCC and TCAT are wonderful partners with the district, providing dual-enrollment and accelerated-pathway opportunities to students.

Seniors, are you interested in learning more about the FREE Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) program?
A representative from the Armored Trucking Academy will visit each high school to meet with students, share information about the trucking industry, and answer questions about the program.

Free Dyslexia Screening Events 📚
Back for another year, the District will continue to host monthly Dyslexia Screening Events for families in the Montgomery County community. All events will be held at the CMCSS Learning Center, 343 Pageant Lane, Clarksville.

The October form is now open and active Mondays - Fridays, 8:00 a.m - 2:30 p.m., until all spots are filled.

Children must be at least four years old and up to 12th grade to participate in the screening. Students do not have to be enrolled in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. A parent or guardian must remain on-site during the screening. If the child is a CMCSS student, the screener’s results will be shared with the child’s school.

Barkers Mill Elementary was awarded the Supporting School Health Services, Strengthening Social-Emotional Health and Learning, and Cultivating Staff Wellness awards.
Liberty Elementary was awarded the Supporting School Health Services, Implementing Local School Health &Wellness Policy, and Cultivating Staff Well-Being.
Rossview High School was awarded the Cultivating Staff Well-Being.
🍎 Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement
Cadet Shelby Epps from Montgomery Central High School won the SY 2025-2026 Legion of Valor Bronze Cross Award for Achievement.
