Giving Grace, Building Hope: Parent Wellness and Youth Suicide Prevention

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is hosting a session for families on suicide prevention warning signs, non-suicidal self injury, and how to talk to your child about these topics. Additionally, the session will focus on adult mental health and wellness to help children and families build resilience.

Due to the nature of the subject matter, adult family members only are encouraged to attend.

The district is pleased to welcome two presenters including Misty Leitsch, Resilience, Risk Reduction, Suicide Prevention (R3SP) Program Coordinator and State Resiliency Coordinator (SRC) for the TN Army National Guard and Kara Merriam, Director of Centerstone Mobile Crisis Services.

The event will be held on Thursday, November 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Northeast High School, 3701 Trenton Rd., Clarksville. Please park in the lot off Meriwether Rd. and enter through door 16. The event is free and open to attend.
