The CMCSS Communicable Disease Team (CDT) comprised of leaders from CMCSS and the Montgomery County Health Department meet regularly to review the latest guidance from the CDC and make recommendations for the health and safety of students, employees and the community.
CMCSS will continue offering free meals to children in Clarksville-Montgomery County through Wednesday, August 26 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon at the following locations: Barksdale Elementary, Burt Elementary, Glenellen Elementary, Moore Magnet Elementary, Montgomery Central High, Northeast High, and Northwest High schools.
Tomorrow, Tue., March 17, middle and high schools will be open from 7-11 a.m. for students to pick up their assigned laptops or important personal items that were left at the school. To reduce the number of individuals coming into the school, it is preferred that only the student come to the front office. Elementary schools will not be open.
Anthony Johnson has been selected as Chief Communications Officer (CCO) for CMCSS, beginning April 1. He replaces Elise Shelton who retires at the end of May.
