Carmel Elementary Hosts Community Open House

The doors to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System’s twenty second elementary school will be open to the public on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 3 – 5 p.m. The school is located on the corner of Sango Road and Dixie Bee Road.
The Community Open House will allow the public to see the results of the $17.1 million investment in student learning. Construction began on the 842-student K-5 school in August 2011. The 35-acre tract also will offer a county-maintained park, a Montgomery County Highway Department salt barn and an area for emergency management to use for the possible future development of an ambulance station that would service residents in eastern Montgomery County.
