The CMCSS School Board presented the following Points of Pride to students, faculty, and staff during the May 19 formal meeting.
JROTC All-Army All-Service National Drill and Fitness Competition
Kenwood High School – Division Three
Named the All-Services Mixed-Division Fitness Team Champions at the JROTC All-Service National Drill and Fitness Competition with the Kenwood High School “Black Knights” Battalion.
The team includes: Hailey McCoy, Fapetu Oluwatunmishe, Keira Cotterman, Austin Taylor, Ashlyn Ruger, Arianna Zepeda, Mia Manso, Patrick McHaney, Robles Cruz, Isaiah Morris, Bryce Ruger, Henry Jones, Joshua Taylor
Named the Challenge Division Three All-Service National Drill Team Runners-up (Unarmed Division), including 1st Place in the Unarmed Color Guard, 2nd Place in the Unarmed Inspection, 2nd Place Commanders Award, 3rd Place Unarmed Regulation, and 5th Place Armed Color Guard Division II at the JROTC All-Army and All-Service National Drill and Fitness Competition with the Kenwood High School “Black Knights” Battalion.
