More than 25,000 children ride school buses in CMCSS. “We believe nothing is more important to us than the safe transportation of each student,” said CMCSS Chief Operations Officer Jim Sumrell.

Throughout the summer, routing and bus stop assignments will be completed. Every CMCSS bus must pass a safety inspection by a Tennessee State trooper.  All drivers are undergoing state and local in-service training throughout the summer.

The School Bus Rules and Regulations are also available online.  To review these rules and help ensure safety for our student passengers, please visit https://www.cmcss.net/departments/operations/rules.aspx.
