The following students and staff earned a Point of Pride recognition from the CMCSS School Board on April 25, 2023.

On March 11, 30 schools from across the 7th Brigade traveled to North Harden High School in Radcliff, Kentucky to compete in the SGM Paul Gray 7th Brigade (BDE) Drill Championships. 7th Brigade consists of JROTC programs from the states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, all vying to be called the Warrior Brigade Champion. When the dust settled, it was the cadets from Montgomery Central High School (MCHS) out of Cunningham, TN, who walked away with the championship. MCHS dominated the competition, sweeping both overall categories and winning the Overall Armed and Unarmed championships as they were crowned the SGM Paul Gray 7th Brigade Grand Champions. They earned eight trophies, two championship belts, and the Grand Champion 7th BDE Warrior drill rifle.
