Work with the Best CMCSS Career Fair

September 18, 2023

On Wednesday, September 20, CMCSS will host a career fair for those interested in working with the district. CMCSS is the second-largest employer in Montgomery County, behind Fort Campbell. Applicants can stop by between 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to Central Services Gracey (621 Gracey Ave, Clarksville) to meet department supervisors and receive application support if needed.

The district offers excellent medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health benefits. Many current employees enjoy the growth potential and professional development opportunities available in the district. Dr. Jean Luna-Vedder, Director of Schools, has emphasized that CMCSSS can and will be the best school district in Tennessee to work and attend. Over the past 12 months, the CMCSS salary schedule has increased 15.5%, on average, in salaries and associated benefits, a historic investment of over $35 million combined. CMCSS continues to focus on efforts to improve workplace climate, appreciation, respect, professional development, resources, support, compensation, and benefits for employees.

See how you can be part of the Defining Difference at CMCSS. The Human Resources team will be on hand to support all potential applicants, and attendees are not required to fill out an online application before visiting. Department leaders will be on-site to meet interviewees, including Certified staff (teachers and those interested in teaching permits), Onsite Employee Health and Wellness, School Nurses, Special Populations, Student Transportation, Substitutes, and more. Those in attendance have the potential for same-day interviews and may even receive a conditional offer of employment!
