Points of Pride Announced During November 18, 2025 Board Meeting
The following Points of Pride were announced during the formal school board meeting on Tuesday, November 18. Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association 2025 State Math Contest This fall, hundreds of students across the state competed in the 2025 Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association State Math Contest. We are proud to announce that we had top placements from Rossview High School in several categories: Carson Carroll, 1st place Pre-Calculus Jason Moon, 1st place Algebra II Bori Choi, 7th place Geometry National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist Cale Weber from Rossview High School is one of 16,000 semi-finalists for the National Merit Scholarship. The semi-finalists are academically talented high school seniors who have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 6,800 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring. To compete for National Merit Scholarships, Semifinalists must advance to the Finalist level of the competition by fulfilling several additional requirements. We are rooting for Cale as he competes in the final round. JROTC All-Service Raider Nationals Competition A few weeks ago, the Knights of Kenwood High School competed in the All-Service Raider National competition in Georgia. Annually, the best 50 Challenge Division JROTC Raider teams from the Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines come together to face off in the toughest Raider Competition in the nation. Tonight, we are proud to announce that Kenwood High School was crowned the 2025 All-Service Mixed Raider Team Champions, meaning they were the best in the nation in their division! Unless otherwise noted, the application period opens January 15, 2026 and application links will not be available until that time. What is an application window? The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System offers several non-traditional schools and programs of choice for students. Each year, families can apply to express interest in their students participating in the program. Read below for more information on these innovative programs designed to provide families the opportunity to choose schools and programs that will help their children reach their potential. Unless otherwise noted, the application period is mid-January through mid-February 2025. CMCSS K-12 Virtual CMCSS K-12 Virtual School offers a flexible and innovative educational option for students in Clarksville-Montgomery County, providing the convenience of learning from home without compromising quality.
